Rules & Regulations
for the
Kodak DC240 Zoom Digital Camera
1 July 1999
- The camera shall be kept by the Medical Staff Secretary.
- All Medical Staff Consultants of Subang Jaya Medical Centre, both Active
and Courtesy, are eligible to borrow and use the camera.
- When you borrow the camera, you will be required to fill in a form which
the Medical Staff Secretary will give to you. Alternatively, you may print
your own form and fill it up
beforehand.
- The camera may be borrowed at any time of day, with the following caveats.
- If you are only using the camera after office hours, please book
the camera with the Medical Staff Secretary and get the camera at the
latest convenient time so that others may use the camera in the day.
- Booking is on a first come, first serve basis.
- You may only make one booking at any one time.
- You may make a new booking only after the camera has been returned.
- Priority will be given for official uses like lectures, presentations,
seminars, conferences and hospital related web-sites.
- Members may borrow the camera for personal use. In this event, please
try to take the camera not earlier than one hour before the Medical Staff
Office closes. Closing times are 17:00 h from Monday to Friday and 12:00 h
on Saturday.
- If you are unable to take the camera personally,
- Please call the Medical Staff Secretary at Ext. 6071 informing her the
name of the person who will be collecting the camera on your behalf, and
- Fill in the Loan Form and return it to the Medical Staff Secretary as
soon as possible.
- The camera must be returned before the stated time on the Loan Form.
- Users must take all reasonable care in the use and safekeeping of the
camera at all times.
- The borrower shall be fully liable for the loss of the camera or any of
its accessories.
- If the camera is damaged, other than from normal wear and tear, the
borrower shall be liable to pay for the cost of repairing the camera.
- Installation of supplied software on any computer other than the Medical
Staff computers.
- Users are free to install the Kodak Software (Mounter, TWAIN Acquire,
Camera Controls and Border Transfer Application) but only for use with
Kodak cameras.
- However, the Picture Easy Software may not be installed on
any other computer.
- Please read the relevant instruction manual/user guide to use the camera
properly. A set of guidelines to help users along is available on the web at
